EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AT DHA CITY KARACHI (DCK).

Project Director (PD) DHA Bahawalpur Brig Arif Rashid Kiani visited the project site of DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway. PD DCK Brig (R) Muhammad Rafique briefed PD DHA Bahawalpur about the development strategy of DCK and the details of the fast track development works going on at the site in accordance with contemporary engineering and development trends to develop DCK as a city of international stature.

Mr Daniel Ritz, Chief Executive Officer PTCL visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) and held a meeting with Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali and DCK team to discuss the modalities/execution strategy for initiating integrated Communication Technology (ICT) works at DCK to make it the first smart City of Pakistan. Administrator said that new ICT networks and technologies will make DHA City more sustainable by providing real time information to the residents and stake holders.

Students and faculty members of Karachi University and Quaid-e-Awam University Nawabshah jointly visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) project on Super Highway and spent a busy day at the site.

Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway and spent a hectic day at the project site. He visited the sites of various ongoing projects in different sectors and gave prompt and pragmatic instructions on ground that will help accelerate the development works in a professional and transparent manner.

A Free Medical Camp exclusively for ladies and children was organized by DHA at Jokhio Goth in DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway. A large number of rural women folk alongwith their children from poor and underprivileged areas of the Jokhio village and the surrounding areas visited the medical camp in large number where experienced lady doctors of DHA Medical Centre provided free medical services and medicines to them.

Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway and spent a hectic day at the project site. He extensively visited various sectors along the vast length and breadth of DCK where infrastructure and other development works were going on in full swing. Administrator gave prompt and pragmatic instructions on ground that will help accelerate the development activities in the area.

Ground Breaking Ceremony of Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital and Research Centre was held at DHA City Karachi (DCK) project site with great fanfare. A large number of hospital’s well wishers, philanthropists, donors, celebrities and press/media personnel attended the ceremony.

A team of Army Engineer Officers headed by Brig Asim, Commander Corps Engineers Headquarters 5 Corps visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) project on an orientation visit. They were welcomed by PD DCK Brig (R) Muhammad Rafique and given an indepth briefing about the efficacy, planning and ongoing development activities at the project site.

A delegation of approx 50 real estate reps of DEFCLAREA (Defence and Clifton Estate Agents Association) led by its President Mr. Raja Mazhar visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway to see the pace and progress of the ongoing development works on the project.
