Karachi, 9 March 2017: Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway and spent two consecutive days at the project site. He drove through the length and breadth of projects’ sites where he was briefed about the details and progress of the ongoing development works.

Administrator visited Hilltop Club point, centrally located on a hillock in DCK Sector-2. He asked DCK consultant to ensure development of an iconic structure at the site which should act as a magnet for DHA City and be visible from far off distance. . The consultant briefed him on the details of relocation of bridge and the ongoing soil investigation in Sector-2. He also visited Sector-3, the vanguard sector of DCK, which will soon be opened for construction. He went to the project sites of minimart, tube well and villas in Sector-3 and commended the professional zeal and commitment of the development teams with which they were completing the projects.

Administrator also visited the site of DHA Oasis project in Sector-1 where Farm Houses are being speedily constructed as a marvel of superior structure in the backdrop of panoramic view of DCK surroundings. He was also briefed on the link road project which will connect National Highway to DCK. Administrator also went to the site of Golf Course project in the south near Goth Kareemdad and was given a detailed briefing on the project salient features.

Later Administrator presided a meeting in which the progress of ongoing development works were discussed and prompt / pragmatic decisions were taken to ensure their speedy completion. He was also given briefing on DCK Suffa University’s Hostel/Staff Accommodation project, Boundary Wall around Goth Allah Dad and ICT (Integrated Communication Technology) project in Sector-3 in line with DCK’s vision of a smart city.

The meeting also discussed the details and arrangements of inauguration programme of 1.1 MW Solar Park and Sports Complex projects in DCK which have been completed and will be formally inaugurated soon. Administrator asked DCK management to maintain highest degree of engineering excellence and transparency in all their undertakings and to uphold the good name, reputation and credibility of DCK at all costs.
