Karachi, 17 Nov 2016: A delegation comprising Vice Chancellor Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) and senior doctors/key management personnel visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) and spent a busy time at the project site. The delegation was received by Project Director brig Muhammad Rafique (Retd) who gave them a comprehensive briefing on the vision, efficacy and the ongoing development activities at DCK. VC DUHS termed DCK project as most impressive and progressive contemporary venture that has tremendous potential to grow as a city of international stature. DUHS team then visited the site of Medical City in DCK where a new DUHS campus spread over 10 acres of land is coming up as a vanguard medical institution that signifies a quantum leap forward in the field of healthcare and medical services.

VC DUHS showed keen interest in initiating full fledged construction activity of new DUHS campus in DCK whose ground breaking has already been performed early this year. He said that DUHS campus in DHA City would be harbinger of the beginning of a new era of progress in the field of healthcare and integrated medical sciences in the county. DUHS delegation returned back satisfied imbued with a reinvigorated resolve to accelerate the process of starting construction activity of the new campus in all its forms and manifestations at the earliest. The DUHS Campus in DCK will ensure provision of qualitative medical and clinical training to the talented students from across the country and substantially contribute to the progress of our beloved homeland.
