Karachi, 16 May 2017: DHA City Karachi (DCK) is a green, sustainable and planned city being built expeditiously as per contemporary engineering and architectural trends. Housing Project in DCK Sector-3, the vanguard sector which will be opened for construction soon, will soon be initiated. DHA Town Planning and Building Control Directorate prepared DCK Development and Construction Bylaws 2017 as per the modern trends/design. The document was reviewed by Pakistan Green Building Council to evaluate their standing/viability in accordance with the international standards of construction.

Mr Aqrab Ali Rana, CEO Pakistan Green Building Council called on Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali in his Office to handover ‘Certificate of Endorsement’ for DCK Building Design and Construction Bylaws 2017. The DCK Development and Building Bylaws were found to be in accordance with Pakistan Green Building Council’s Sustainable Building Design and Construction Guidelines.

This is a befitting recognition of DCK as a sustainable city of international stature committed to building a healthy, vibrant and sustainable future for the country.
