Karachi, 29 Nov 2016: Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway and spent two consecutive days at the project site. He visited on ground the sites of various ongoing projects and gave prompt and timely instructions to the concerned officials for completing the development works with a forward looking approach on sound footings. He appreciated the standard and quality of work being executed at the site and urged the DCK staff/consultant to continuously strive for achieving the highest standards of professional excellence. Administrator visited DCK Main Entrance Gate Extension project, site of fast food outlets and mobile canteen/cafeteria project in DCK Gateway District and location of shops being built in the market area of Sector-3, the vanguard sector of DCK which will be opened for construction soon as a harbinger of a new era of modern living.

Later Brig Shahid Hassan presided a meeting of DCK officials and consultants in which various technical, administrative and contractual matters related to the ongoing/planned projects in DCK were discussed incisively and various pragmatic and forward looking decisions taken to ensure their speedy completion/early initiation of pipeline projects. The projects discussed included implementation of PTCL’s ICT (Integrated Communication Technology) project to make DCK a smart city, interior designing works of exquisitely planned housing project in Sector-3, development of high rise buildings in Central Business District, Market Building in Sector-3 and strategic plan for supply of electricity in Sector-3 including use of renewable solar energy in addition to conventional source of energy. Progress of development of Farm Houses of DHA Oasis project being built as a marvel of superior architecture and extravagance was also reviewed and appropriate decisions were taken to ensure their speedy completion within the stipulated timelines.

Administrator instructed the DCK management to ensure highest degree of professionalism, engineering excellence and transparency in all their undertakings and to uphold the good name, reputation and credibility of DCK at all costs.
