Karachi,6 Nov 2015:Open Computerized Balloting for allotment of DHA Oasis Farm Houses in DHA City Karachi (DCK) was held at the Convention Hall of Defence Authority Country & Golf Club Karachi this evening. Administrator DHA Brig Zubair Ahmed was the chief guest.

A modern, fool proof and versatile software tested and audited by a renowned firm KPMG was used for the ballot. The applicants data was thoroughly checked by a Board of Officers to ensure error free, transparent and above board conduct of balloting. The results were displayed on big screens at the venue and have also been posted on DHA’s Website www.dhakarachi.org.

Administrator DHA congratulated the successful applicants of the ballot and thanked the public including overseas citizens for their unprecedented support for the project. He said that DCK was being speedily developed as a sustainable, modern and smart city of international stature to make it livable by 2016.

Brig Zubair said that some remarkable interventions in DCK recently made by DHA had given a new dimension and added value to project. These include finalization of MOUs for establishment of Shaukat Khanam Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, IBA Campus, DOW Medical University Campus, a Teaching Hospital and a state-of-the-art Liver Transplant Centre. He added that active planning was going on for initiation of Malir Motorway project which will drastically curtail the traveling time to DCK.

A large number of people including officials of DHA Residents’ Associations, office bearers of DEFCLAREA, notables and senior civil and military officers attended the ceremony.
