Karachi, 13 November 2017: Commander 5 Corps and President Executive Board DHA Lt Gen Shahid Baig Mirza visited DHA City Karachi (DCK) on Super Highway. On arrival he was received by Administrator DHA Brig Shahid Hassan Ali. The Commander went to recently opened DCK Sector-3 for construction and appreciated the quality and standard of infra/sector development works in the sector.

Corps Commander drove their entire DHA City where fast track development work was going on in full swing which he said was impressive and reassuring. He directed DCK management to ensure completion of development works of Sec-5, Sec-7 and Central Business District at the earliest so that they are opened for construction soon.

Corps Commander inaugurated four fully furnished Farm Houses built in the back drop of panoramic view of exquisite natural surroundings of DCK. He appreciated the architectural elegance and construction excellence of Farm Houses and directed DCK management to complete rest of the Farm Houses at the earliest.

Later Commander visited the recently established DCK Junior School in Sector-3 which is functioning with a strength of 90 students and providing quality education to the students of the area. Corps Commander chatted with the young students from local/surrounding areas and termed the school as an embodiment of progress and enlightenment that would change the fate of the area.

The Commander was earlier given an in-depth briefing on the progress of the ongoing development activities and new initiatives/interventions related to education, health, energy and recreational fields being made in DHA City to add to the status and stature of DCK. He appreciated the efficacy, versatility and pace of ongoing development works in DHA City and termed it as a promosing venture with the potential to provide an ambiance of modern, comfortable and secure living for its residents.

At the end the commander asked the spirited team of DCK to continue working hard with utmost zeal and dedication to develop DHA City as a unique city of international stature.
